We all hope that we will never have a medical emergency, but one of the reasons many of us buy health insurance in China is so that we are covered just incase we do need to seek medical care.
Almost all health insurance providers will give you a card that has important information on it including coverage limits and contact numbers to call if you need coverage for emergency care. The problem is, we may not always have that card on us and it is surprisingly tough to actually get access to this number via many provider’s websites. To make things easier, we have created a list of the emergency contact numbers for the emergency providers we work with.
