EARCOS

EARCOS (East Asia Regional Council of Schools) was founded in 1968 as a result of growth in the 1960s of U.S. schools in East Asia and the needs of these schools to develop supportive, collaborative relationships coupled with the deliverance of professional development activities to member schools. The organization consists of 144 member schools in East Asia, who have a total of more than 100,000 pre-K to 12th grade students. EARCOS inspires adult and student learning through its leadership and service and fosters intercultural understanding, global citizenship and exceptional educational practices within their learning community. They aim to develop collaborative educational partnerships within the region as well as conduct and communicate research and archive relevant.
